A specific land use plan (Resource Management Plan) for the management of the 7500 acres Headwaters Forest Reserve that came into federal ownership March 1, 1999. This RMP was developed using criteria established by Congressional legislation that established the requirement for the creation of management plan. The plan is a joint management plan, EIS/EIR that meets the requirements of the NEPA and CEQA and presents management goals and direction for long-term reserve management and defines.
