Document Description
The proposed project would expand an existing laundry plant and offices, for properties located south of Poplar Street and west of Hunter Street. The project would remove existing commercial buildings, including all or portions of the existing laundry plant. Four residences, including three in the Magnolia Historical Preservation District would be removed. This would require a boundary change to Magnolia Historic District to exclude portions of the project site or approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness for demolition of the residences. The project would require a General Plan amendment from Administration Professional designation to Commercial designation and a rezone from C-R, Commercial-Residential District to C-3, Central Business District.
