Document Description
Approximately one-third of the units in San Marcos have been built to date. Discovery Builders, developer of the San Marcos project, requested a third amendment to extend the term of the DA from 2020 to 2032. In exchange for the extension of term, the developer will be required to expend and construct up to $1.5 million in improvements to the six-acre community park in the development and to complete that construction by September 1, 2015. In addition to the modified park obligation, the DA amendment includes an obligation for the developer to pay $10,000 (adjusted annually according to consumer price index) to the City each year to pay for annual compliance review of the DA.
