Document Description
CDFW has executed Amendment No. 1, a minor amendment to Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA) number 1600-2013-0194-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Caltrans. The Project involves activities related to roadway realignment and widening work on SR 180 where it crosses over the Centerville-Kingsburg Canal, China Slough, Collins Creek, the Kings River, Cameron Slough, Byrd Slough, the Carmelita Canal, and the Mount Campbell Canal. Minor Amendment No. 1 removed reference to and measures/requirements associated with VELB which has since been withdrawn from consultation by the USFWS; removes the SJKF reporting requirement, and allowed for mitigation at lands other than the Layne property so long as those lands are approved in advance by CDFW. This Major Amendment No. 2 changes the water diversion method and adds the use of a floating platform at two of the eight Project locations.
